Volme Galerie, Hagen

The „Volme Galerie“ shopping centre in Hagen is owned by SEB Immoinvest and opened its doors about 11 years ago. The property consists of two building sections: a new building with a shopping arcade and small individual shops, and an old building, the former HORTEN department store, which was operated until recently by KAUFHOF and SATURN. Matrix was commissioned by SEB with the project development and realisation as well as the implementation of the general planning for the intended restructuring. The entire shopping arcade is to be structurally and creatively adapted to meet modern requirements and the vacated areas in the former HORTEN department store will be extensively renovated and reallocated. The goals of these measures are the establishment of a stable tenant structure for the generation of a sustainable cash flow and the creation of a future-proof floor concept that can exist alongside the new „Rathaus-Galerie“ shopping centre which is emerging in the immediate vicinity.
